The development of a 500,000 sqft distribution centre by Barola Asset Management in Newbridge, Co Kildare, Ireland. The distribution centre has been pre-let to a major European fashion retailer, who plan to complete the fit-out and operate from mid-2024. The works are completed to shell by TSL but include provision for the tenants’ office areas together with ancillary buildings, service yards, and parking. BIM modelling has been a critical tool in looking to integrate the building shell with the tenants equipment fit-out. TSL was appointed as the contractor to complete the base build works, which included a main warehouse that is over 7 times larger than Aviva Stadium, as well as ancillary buildings, tenant office areas, service yards, and parking.
